About the work behind the workbook

A healing resource built with clinical depth, structure, and compassion.

This work was created to integrate neuroscience, experiential healing, and reflective practices. It is designed to help individuals process what remains unresolved in a safe, structured, and self-paced way.

Kevin M. Biddell, PhD (BME), LISW

Kevin holds a PhD in biomedical engineering and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in private clinical practice in Ohio. His clinical work focuses on trauma, attachment, men's issues, and the spiritual dimensions of healing — drawing on Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, somatic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. He is co-founder of Hope for a Village, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that publishes both Gwen's Meadow and the Trauma Healing Coloring Workbook and works to make trauma-informed care affordable for those who need it most. All proceeds from these books go directly toward that mission.

He is also the founder of Biosynesi LLC - but underneath each of those forms, the work is the same one: helping people find their way back to themselves, gently and at their own pace.

Guiding philosophy

This is not about forcing healing. It is about creating the conditions where healing can naturally occur through safety, structure, pacing, and reflection.

What may be next

Dedicated exercise pages, workbook previews, therapist resources, testimonials, email signup, a Spanish-language version, and deeper educational content all fit naturally into this structure.
